last week i searched for a chocolate cake recipe for sam's birthday that was egg-free & peanut-free but not taste-free. i had lots of suggestions from friends, but ended up using a recipe i found online at allrecipes.com - and it was delicious! so if you are looking for an allergen free cake, or even just a good chocolate cake recipe i suggest you give this one a try. and sam gives it a thumbs-up! it was an uncomplicated recipe that resulted in a moist and yummy "choplip" cake as sam calls it. so this weekend for his birthday this will be his treat...only i think i might make cupcakes.
