My favorite cookbook is Moosewood Cookbook by Mollie Katzen. Lots of yummy recipes including Tabouleh and also the Mushroom Soup (without the Hungarian part). I also like The Silver Palate Cookbook (1981) by Rosso & Lukins.
Cooking is a passion around our house; baking even more so for me. I'd be glad to share some bread starter with you. Just FB me, and we'll set up a time.

My favorite cookbook is "From Asparagus to Zucchini: A Guide to Cooking Farm-Fresh, Seasonal Produce" which is from MACSAC (Madison Area CSA Coalition). It gives recipes for produce alphabetically and by season - so if you have no idea what to do with the kohlrabi you get in your veg share, this cookbook will tell you :)

The cookbook I find myself cooking out of most lately is one given to me by a good friend a few years ago Classic Irish Recipes by Georgina Campbell..as odd as that sounds lol Soda Bread, apple cake and beef stew....yum!

Hi Katie! My favorite cookbook is America's Test Kitchen. The recipes are labor intensive but really good. My favorite meatloaf recipe is from there (I usually don't like meatloaf!), it takes about 45 minutes to prepare and an hour to cook, but OMG! soooo good. I am able to make the recipe and freeze half for just Wayne and I and he is usually still able to have a meatloaf sandwich the next day!

I love the annual Southern Living cookbooks. They compile the best recipes of each magazine year. I've made some deliciousness out of 2008 like Sauteed Mushroom & cheese ravioli! I'll email the recipe to you...

Katie: my favorite cookbook is Southern Living Edition year 2000. My favorite recipe is Cloverleaf Dinner Rolls, which I have been making for around 37 years.

Katie: My favorite cookbook is a very old Better Homes & Gardens Red Checked Binder. It tells you how to cook EVERYTHING if you are a beginner cook. I have subscribed to BH&G magazine forever & torn our many a great great recipe. Lots of them are available on-line at bhg.com. I'm sending you 3 recipes via snail mail - a super easy Coffee Cake and 2 appetizers, even if Michael can't make a meal out of them. Here's one to share with you blog friends from Rachel Ray:
"A Litte Corny" appetizer. 8 oz cream cheese at room temp., 1 slightly beaten large egg, 1 cup shreded pepper jack cheese, 1/2 cup frozen corn kernals. Mix cream cheese and egg well with a mixer in a large bowl, then add the shredded cheese and corn - mix well. Spoon 1 tsp of mixture into 48 (10 oz bag) scoop-shaped tortilla chips. Arrange on large rimmed cookie sheet. Bake at 350 until filling sets, about 20 minutes. Sprinkle with chopped chives or cilantro. Serve HOT. PS: Be VERY CAREFUL - they will slide around on the sheet going in and out of the oven.

I have two! Apple for jam by Tessa kiros because the cookbook tells a story and the photos are lovely. The cookbook is full of cozy family recipes and great stories. The other one is Moosewood classics. It has the best chocolate chips cookie recipe, muffins, chilean bean stew and celery blue cheese salad recipe. In fact every recipe I have tried from the book is amazing. Oh- Plus online I love 101 cookbooks. I could go on and on and on.. I will spare you. :)
My favorite would be The Joy of Cooking..... and second favorite would be the Betty Crocker Cookbook....
Hi, My favorite cookbook is the Vegetarian Meat and Potatoes Cookbook by Robin Robertson.
My favorite cookbook is "Veliki Narodni Kuvar" - translated "The Great People's Cookbook" This 730 page cookbook was a gift from my M-I-L to my husband. It is my favorite for two reasons: there are lots of delicious recipes and it is written in Serbian, Cyrillic no less, which means I can't read it so NED has to do the cooking ;D
