I love the lost art of snail mail. I love how there is the personalization. There is the feeling that someone took the time out of their day for that something extra.

Snail mail means one piece of mail that ISN'T a bill! And I love the personal feeling you get when someone takes the time to send something so special

I have been seriously coveting the Celtic cross notecards for months now...make that a year at least! I purchased them to give to teachers for Christmas, and they almost didn't make it into the gift bag!!

I do love snail mail, but I will admit to being very guilty of being rather snailish myself about mailing things. I love getting cards and letters in the mail, but I'm SO bad at forgetting to send things! I will write them up, stamp them and then they sit while I forget to drop them in the mailbox. I do solemnly swear if I win those adorable owl cards I will not let them sit and get dusty..I WILL mail them! lol

I think my favorite thing about snail mail is opening something that isn't junk or bills. I receive most of my bills via email now so really the only thing that comes in the box is junk. :-( So when I receive a personalized card or note from a friend or relative, it always lifts my spirits. It seems to have the same effect on my kids too. What joy in their eyes when they get something w/ their name on it!

What's cool about sending snail mail is you can really jazz it up. I try to put stickers, etc. on the cards & notes I send to people. You can't do that on email!

Oh, and my favorite card by katie is the American flag card. Being a military wife, it has the most meaning to me.

Our family (the Goodmans, Raddishs, Merlos) are blessed by several family members who remember to send birthday, get well, or holiday cards to others with the G/R/M family. The cards are delivered by the USPS 'not-so-snail any longer' mail. It is always a joy to get one in the mail - brings a smile to my face and I am sure, others as well.

As you probably know, I am a Mary Kay Consultant and a former Director. Mary Kay's favorite 'achievement' symbol was the Bee. Scientifically speaking the Bee should not be able to fly but no one ever told the Bee that and he/she just goes right on flying - we couldn't live without them. Therefore,my favorite card is your Just A Note card with the Bumble Bee in flight (at the top of the card). You are so talented and I will be ordering cards from you soon.

I did a expansive post on face book.
I love your blue flower photo cards.
I LOVE snail-mail. I get a happy little clench in the pit of my stomach and i wait just a little to open it to savor the moment. I even travel vicariously by having friends send post cards from where ever they go..I have been known to beg! I am also pretty good at returning the favor because I know we all love to get something sweet in the mail!
Thank you for sharing your life with me....even vicariously!!! ;)
