Old Timer's Day in Rabbit Hash Kentucky

There is no place in the world like Rabbit Hash, Kentucky. It's a tiny little place on the banks of the Ohio River. Blink and you will miss it. The people of Rabbit Hash sure do know how to throw parties. All year long there are barn dances, concerts behind the stove in the general store, and other festivities. Our favorite occasion in Rabbit Hash though is Old Timers Day. It is always a magical day, filled with old cars, great music, flowing beer, carnival games for kids in the barn, good eats, and more. Each year we run into old friends, and make new friends as well. The kids run all over the place and wear themselves out throwing hay, making musical instruments in the barn and dancing to the tunes. My words are not doing justice to this event, or to the city of Rabbit Hash...you will just have to meander down on your own one day to see what I mean. It's a very special place...made even better when they are throwing a party of some sort!  Oh, and did I mention, the mayor of Rabbit Hash is a dog...

Max & the other munchkins take on Jake Speed in a hay fight. Jake lost.
Sam always finds the best seat in the house to watch the tribal dancers.
