I know you are all probably sick of hearing me say this...but I LOVE etsy! I have done quite a bit of my holiday shopping on Etsy.com these past few years, and I have found some very cool & unique gifts there!
One of my favorite finds last year was a "Reinbeer" upcycled ornament for my cousin. It was an adorable reindeer made out of beer can - genius! It's environmentally friendly and a great conversation starter.
The ornament was from the etsy store Make Shop Live. This Christmas KC from Make Shop Live is sharing one of her upcycled ornaments with me to give away to one lucky reader, and I'm so happy about that!
According to the description of the ornament on Etsy, "SANTA'S LITTLE HELPERS ORNAMENTS are Reindeer shaped ornaments made from recycled Soda Cans. Perfect for your "Root Beer" Lover or Soda Fan this Holiday Season. Makes a fun and lighthearted decoration for any holiday decor."
To enter to win this adorable upcycled reindeer ornament made from a Retro Dr. Pepper can follow the instructions below. Be sure to leave your contact info! A winner will be drawn using Random.org on Friday, December 9th at 2pm. The winner has 48 hours to respond or another name will be drawn. I 'like' Make Shop Live and the little things blog on Facebook!
I think my favorite holiday tradition might be our ornament making day. The boys and I have been doing it for years now...we always find a new and cool ornament to make and spend a night watching a Christmas movie, making ornaments and making cookies and popcorn. I love that they look forward to spending time with me, doing crafty stuff, and that they enjoy helping me decide what time of ornament we are going to make every year.
These are adorable! I'm with RoseMamie on the ornament thing. My mom started having us make homemade ornaments every year when we were kids, and I've done it ever since. That, picking a tree, and decorating cookies are some of my favorite Christmas traditions.

One of my favorite traditions is our church Christmas program. We watch the kids sing and do their play. Then have gingerbread house making right after. We just did this today!
I like your blog and Make Shop Live on fb!
Our tradition is to open one gift on Xmas eve

I don't "Like" the little things blog on facebook. I love it! Katie has a lot of really good recipes that she puts on here.

Love this little Reindeer. Our tradition is on Christmas Eve, we always have my Mom's lasagna and meatballs then the kids each get to open one gift that is under the tree.
I have liked the fb pages. My favorite tradition is that we take the Night Before Christmas story - cut it into the individual line ie (It was the night before Christmas and all through the house) and randomly tape one line of the story to each present brought to the house. Every is given their presents and when their line is read it is their turn to open that gift. When all gits are down I read the story in its entirety to the grandkids.
