PowerCapes Review & Giveaway {CLOSED}

This giveaway is closed, but you can purchase your own Super Fabulous PowerCape for your superhere - it's a perfect gift!
Thanks to everyone who participated!
And congrats to Jessica who said:
"I want one! I want one! I think my son would love it and his birthday is coming up, less than a month."

Each year for Halloween I brainstorm with the kids for costume ideas.  I try my best to steer them towards coordinating costumes, but that can be hard with four kids.  Last year they decided to be Super Heroes, so I set about finding the perfect Super Hero capes.  I found just what we were looking for when I stumbled upon PowerCapes.com.  It's this amazing website where you can design your own personalized Super Hero cape.  How cool is that?!?!  I sat down with each of my kids and they created their own masterpiece.  We had so much fun working on this!  Each cape ended up so cute & unique.  Ella's is a little bit girly, Sam's mimics the costume of his favorite hero, and Max spent quite a while working on his cool color scheme.  When the capes arrived in the mail the kids flipped out, and so began my life surrounded by super heroes.

Fast forward four months, and the kids are still wearing their capes constantly, running around the house saving lives, spying on bad guys & putting out fires.  They capes are high quality and so durable and the are still in great shape despite the constant use!  They love their capes so much, and I'm so glad they have them...I envision them being a keepsake in their lives.

Here's a little bit more about the PowerCapes company from their website:
Who We Are : PowerCapes is a team of Moms, Dads, Customer Service Heroes, Web Ninjas and Passionate People who have dedicated their lives to helping kids be real super heroes.
Started by Holly Bartman as a way to provide children with personalized super hero capes, PowerCapes has become the #1 destination for authentic super hero wear for kids (and adults, too!)
Our Company Culture : Our company is founded on the principles of giving back to the community and supporting children's causes while making a fun, high quality, safe product.
Made in the USA : We have our own manufacturing facility in the Metro Detroit area where our production staff makes each product completely by hand one-at-a-time for children around the world.

They don't just make children's capes...they also make adult capes, wrist bands, masks, t-shirts and more!  And they work with groups to do fundraisers as well.  So many cool things going on at PowerCapes.com!

In my excitement over these capes I contacted the company and asked if we could collaborate on a giveaway and they agreed!  So I get to give one lucky reader a special code to create their own child's cape!

The Giveaway Details:  ONE lucky reader will be chosen using random.org on Friday, February 24 at 2pm.  The winner will have 48 hours to contact me to claim their prize or another winner will be chosen.  Entrants must be 18 years or older.  The winner will be emailed a special code from PowerCapes, and then they will have the ability to design their very own Super Hero Cape for their munchkin!

We love super heroes in my house. My 4 yr old son has taught my 18 month old daughter to turn her art apron around to make a cape and they run around the house saying "its ok, I help you". I think he would be so excited to have a real one :)

My 2 boys are completely obsessed with superheroes! They fight daily over the battered capes that we have, and are regularly spotted wearing Batman or Darth Vader masks!
