Red Gold Summer Grillin' Party {GIVEAWAY CLOSED}

People are starting to complaint that summer is almost over, but I'm trying to see the glass
as half full.  And as such, I see that there is still plenty of time in the grill-out season!  And Red Gold is stepping in to make sure we get a kick out of these last few summer cookouts with a Sweepstakes AND a Giveaway right here on the Little Things Blog!  I was eager to join in on the fun with Red Gold because there are lots of things I use their tomatoes for, not just grilling.  I use them in Chili, Spaghetti Sauce, and even Guacamole!  And now Red Gold has all sorts of new flavors on the market, such as Diced Tomatoes with Basil, Garlic & Oregano and Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies (perfect for guac), just to name a couple.
They sent me a lovely set of items including a variety of their canned tomatoes, ketchup, and apron and a collection of recipes perfect for summer grilling.  AND they are giving one of my readers a set of these goodies to enjoy as well.  Keep on reading to learn about their sweepstakes, see one of the tasty recipes they have come up with, and of course to enter the RED GOLD Giveaway!

Red Gold has been around since the 1940s focused on growing local in the Midwest, where true seasons positively impact the flavor of tomatoes. The Midwest, while it's cold in the winter, has the perfect growing season for tomatoes, perfect angle of the sun, perfect temps -- and even the winter is good for tomatoes, as it breaks up the soil for tiny root systems.  (Information from Red Gold)
Red Gold, which is a 70-year-old, still family-owned company that professional and home chefs swear by, is hosting a sweepstakes to celebrate the last part of summer and grilling -- as it gives away a popular Green Egg Ceramic Grill & Smoker, as well 1,000 aprons each week for five weeks leading put to the grand-prize drawing. The promotion will begin July 24th on Red Gold's Facebook page and ends Aug. 30th.
