Etsy Crafter Spotlight :: Charlene Sevier Jewelry

Etsy Crafter Spotlight :: In an effort to encourage folks to support small businesses, I will be  highlighting various Etsy crafters on the Little Things Blog to introduce you to some of my favorite crafters on my favorite website.  Of course, if you are on Etsy I always recommend stopping by the Cards by Katie shop to see all of my note cards!

Introducing :: Charlene Sevier
My mother, along with her sisters have been researching their family history and puzzling together our family's geneology.  It's been a fascinating journey for them, I suppose some day I'll write a blog post about that adventure...but for now I want to shine the spotlight on one of their cousins that they have found after connecting the dots and filling out the family tree.  Charlene Sevier is a jewelry designer who sells her fabulous designs on Etsy.  She describes her jewelry as "handcrafted artisan jewelry that has a distinct ethnic and boho chic style – classic yet perfect for today's trends".  I love her enameled pieces because I have a few pieces of enameled metal art of my great-grandmother's, and I've never known another artist who uses this medium.
I'm so glad that when my mom and aunts unearthed new cousins for the family they found a crafty cousin!  You should take a moment to check out Charlene Sevier Jewelry on Etsy, because Christmas is coming, and handmade jewelry would be a great gift! I recently sent my mom a "wishlist" for Christmas...and there were a few of Charlene's pieces on this list!  Charlene has some really cool and unique items in her shop...you could get lost in their wandering around looking at jewelry.  I did.

Here are the pieces my mother bought for me:

Disclaimer ::  Etsy Crafter Spotlights are my own creation.  I'm not being paid to highlight this wonderful artist, I just love their work and want to spread the word.  Spend some time on Etsy and visit my shop, Cards by Katie and then peruse all of the other top-notch crafter shops!
